SIGNIFICANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE

LENWOOD ROAD GRADE SEPARATION, BARSTOW, CALIFORNIA
PROJECT VALUE: $31.7M

Served as Project Engineer for this grade separation project. Responsibilities included quality assurance review of technician daily reports and laboratory testing results, and providing technical engineering support to the project team as needed. The scope of services for this project included compaction testing, concrete testing, and materials testing of many aspects of the project such as: Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Walls, structural fill and embankment, and sewer improvements.

I-15/RANCHERO ROAD INTERCHANGE,
PROJECT VALUE: $60M

Quality Assurance Manager. This project consisted of a bridge at Ranchero Road over the I-15 freeway in Hesperia, CA. Supervised the Quality Assurance Materials Testing and Inspection services in accordance with the Caltrans construction manual as well as the project special provisions. Administered and oversaw the hot mix asphalt QC/QA program including the coordination and verification of the contractors QC laboratory testing. Served as QA Project Manager for this project and his daily responsibilities included reviewing daily reports, presenting lab and field test data, and offering technical guidance. Prepared the invoices using the SANBAG templates and categorizes and files all test data. Performed review and acceptance of hot-mix asphalt (HMA) mix designs, material submittals including JPCP and PCC mix design submittals, and Quality Control plans provided by others. This project went through multiple audits by Caltrans and met Caltrans expectations for each audit.

PROJECT I-15/LA MESA/NISQUALLI INTERCHANGE,
PROJECT VALUE: $58M

Quality Assurance Manager. This project consisted of connecting La Mesa Road and Nisqualli Road to I-15 with a full-service interchange. Supervised the Quality Assurance Materials Testing and Inspection services in accordance with the Caltrans construction manual as well as the project specifications. Administered and provided oversight for the hot mix asphalt QC/QA program including the coordination and verification of the contractors QC laboratory testing. Served as QA Project Manager for this project. Daily responsibilities included reviewing daily reports, presenting lab and field test data, and offering technical guidance.  Prepared the invoices using the SANBAG templates, categorized and filed all test data, communicated with the resident engineer and monitored the budget to ensure that our services remain within budget. Performed review and acceptance of hot-mix asphalt (HMA) mix designs, material submittals, and Quality Control plans provided by others. Provided the final material certification for the project.
